Why I use EOS

EOS is the framework I use to help leadership teams build Team Decision Fitness, so fewer decisions need to come back to the founder.

Use It.
Keep Using It.

EOS sticks because the leadership team learns it together, applies it to real business issues and turns it into the habits used to run the business.

The team learns it together

Simon introduces EOS in plain, practical language so everyone understands how it applies to the business. The aim is to give the team a shared way of thinking, not a set of buzzwords.

The team uses it together

EOS is applied to the real issues, priorities and decisions the leadership team is already facing. That is what makes the framework powerful from the start.

The team keeps using it

The work continues through a regular rhythm of focus, ownership and follow-through. Over time, EOS becomes part of how the team runs the business, not something separate from it.

As the rhythm takes hold, the framework and tools are rolled out across the wider organisation, so clarity, ownership and follow-through reach beyond the leadership team.

Coach bio

I know what it feels like when the business runs through you

Simon Adcock, Founder Trap® Guide, Founder/Owner of ATEC Security and Professional EOS Implementer®

I watched my dad live the Founder Trap® before I lived it myself. Then, at 19, I took over a struggling family business. Over the years, I turned it into a successful security technology company with more than 50 employees. Good reputation. Good people. Real progress.

But for far too long, the business still depended on me. I was the person who knew the history, made the calls, solved the awkward problems and dealt with the things nobody else quite owned. From the outside, it looked like a strong business. Inside, too much judgement, context and responsibility still sat with me.

I knew I needed a leadership team. I also found out, the hard way, that building one is not as simple as hiring good people and hoping they step up.

Founder Trap® exists because I found a better way through that. Now I help other founders build aligned, high-trust and accountable leadership teams, so the business can move forward without everything coming back to them. Not because they are stepping away from responsibility, but because more decisions, ownership and accountability can sit with the team.

Start with a conversation

You don't need to know whether EOS is the answer yet. A discovery call is simply a conversation about your business, your leadership team and whether EOS is the right fit for you.
